The Accreditation Organization of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO) has approved the Master of Science in Cartography, which will be offered as a Joint-Degree. The approval was based on an accreditation process following the European Approach for Quality Assurance of Joint Programs in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
Four partner universities
This Joint-Degree is offered by the University of Twente - ITC Faculty (the Netherlands), the Technical University of Dresden (Germany), the Technical University of Munich (Germany), and the Technical University of Vienna (Austria). The University of Twente - ITC Faculty joined the program in 2014.
Students spend their first semester at the Technical University of Munich, their second semester at the Technical University of Vienna, and their third semester at the Technical University of Dresden. During these three semesters, online modules of the University of Twente – ITC Faculty are part of the curriculum. The fourth semester marks the time when students prepare for their Master’s thesis at one of the four participating universities.
