Get support on choosing a study

WHICH DEADLINE APPLIES TO YOU DEPENDS ON YOUR NATIONALITY AND THE PROGRAMME YOU WANT TO STUDY

You can find the application deadlines for individual courses on the course webpageGo to the Studyfinder and select the course you want to study.

Sponsorship deadlines

Candidates who intend to apply for some form of sponsorship will be required to adhere to the deadlines imposed by the sponsor, and in many cases, these may be as early as nine months before course commencement.

Overview of application deadlines

Master's and Postgraduate diploma | Students with a non-Dutch degree

Check the application deadlines below if you hold a bachelor's degree which you didn’t obtain in the Netherlands.

On the website of the Dutch government you can check if have a nationality of one of the European Economic Area (EEA)

Deadlines for European and Dutch nationalities (EEA)

These deadlines apply if you have a nationality of one of the European Economic Area (EEA) or if you have a Dutch nationality, in possession of an international (foreign) diploma.

Non-EEA (VISA) nationalities

The dates below apply if you have a non-EEA nationality that requires a residence permit for the Netherlands. Even if you are in possession of a Dutch or European residence permit your current nationality is leading.

Master's and Postgraduate diploma | Students with a Dutch degree

The dates below apply if you need a residence permit for the Netherlands / visa when you wish to live and study here. Note that your current nationality is leading, even if you are in possession of a Dutch or European residence permit.

Do you have a nationality of one of the countries of the European Economic Area (EEA)? Then you take these dates into account.

Dutch nationality

If you have the Dutch nationality and almost a Dutch degree, the application deadlines apply on the master’s you wish to study.

The application deadlines for short courses can be found on the course page.

Go to the Study finder and select the course you want to study. Scroll to "Key information" where you will find the deadlines for the course.
