Predicting landslides and flooding Jana Lim - Winner of TGS Award

Landslides and flooding tend to occur simultaneously in time. Jana Lim, a former Master student at ITC, thought it would be interesting to predict these two hazards since they cause a lot of damage to society. Her idea is to apply tools originally developed for speech recognition to do so. Jana Lim is the winner of the TGS Award 2023. In the video below Jana explains more about her upcoming PhD research.
