  • SPAD Chlorophyll Meter

    SPAD

The SPAD 502 Plus Chlorophyll Meter instantly measures chlorophyll content or “greenness” of your plants to reduce the risk of yield-limiting deficiencies or costly overfertilizing. The SPAD 502 Plus quantifies subtle changes or trends in plant health long before they’re visible to the human eye. Non-invasive measurement; simply clamp the meter over leafy tissue, and receive an indexed chlorophyll content reading (-9.9 to 199.9) in less than 2 seconds. Assess nitrogen needs by comparing in-field SPAD readings to university guidelines or to adequately fertilized reference strips. Research shows a strong correlation between SPAD measurements and leaf N content.

  • TGA

    Perkin Elmer TGA 8000™

The TGA 8000 gives you the confidence that comes with total control of your sample atmosphere, both temperature and gas. Our furnace's temperature control system creates a wide effective temperature range – from subambient to 1,200 °C. The system delivers heating rates from 0.1 °C to 500 °C/minute to address the widest range of applications, and its low mass and forced-air cooling allow it to cool quickly for fast sample turnaround. For sample gas environment, the system provides two integral mass-flow controllers for balance and sample purge. Built-in gas switching from Pyris™ software makes switching easy, while optional gas mixing allows the blending of up to three reaction gases, with delivery direct to the sample area.

  • GC/MS (FID)

Perkin Elmer Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS) and FID

Our Clarus® SQ 8 GC/MS offers unsurpassed sensitivity and unparalleled stability for identification and quantification of volatile and semi-volatile compounds.

  • XRD

    XRD Bruker D2 phaser

The D2 PHASER delivers data quality and collection speed that, up to recently, was thought impossible with a benchtop XRD system.

  • TOC

    Shimadzu TOC-L

The TOC-L series of TOC analyzers adopts the 680°C combustion catalytic oxidation method, which was developed by Shimadzu and is now used worldwide. While providing an ultra wide range of 4 μg/L to 30,000 mg/L, these analyzers boast a detection limit of 4 μg/L through coordination with NDIR. This is the highest level of detection sensitivity available with the combustion catalytic oxidation method.

In addition, the combustion catalytic oxidation method makes it possible to efficiently oxidize not only easily-decomposed, low-molecular-weight organic compounds, but also hard-to-decompose insoluble and macromolecular organic compounds.

  • Ball Mill

Planetary Ball Mills are used wherever the highest degree of fineness is required. Apart from the classical mixing and size reduction processes, the mills also meet all the technical requirements for colloidal grinding and have the energy input necessary for mechanical alloying processes. The extremely high centrifugal forces of a planetary ball mill result in very high pulverization energy and therefore short grinding times.

The PM 200 is a convenient benchtop model with 2 grinding stations.
