ILWIS 3.31 Update

ILWIS 3.31 is a service pack on ILWIS 3.3. Some new functionality has been added to the Hydrologic Flow Operations and the Spatial Multiple Criteria Evaluation (SMCE); some bugs were fixed.

Single file download and installation

Download the ILWIS 3.3 self-extracting executable ILWIS3.3Academic.exe listed below. When the file has been downloaded, start the executable by double-clicking it. The installation files will be unpacked, then the ILWIS 3.3 installation is automatically started. To install under Windows NT/2000/XP, administrator rights are required.

Multiple part download and installation

In case you have an unstable internet connection, download the fifteen (15) files listed below into one folder. When all files have been downloaded, start the executable by double-clicking it. The installation files will be unpacked, then the ILWIS 3.3 installation is automatically started. To install under Windows NT/2000/XP, administrator rights are required.

ILWIS 3.3 Registration

Existing ILWIS 3.x users

Existing users of ILWIS version 3.0 or later, both ITC and PCI customers, are entitled to upgrade to version 3.3 free of charge.

• Download the executable above, and install ILWIS 3.3.
• When upgrading from ILWIS 3.1 or later to ILWIS 3.3:
  There is no need to register ILWIS 3.3, as ILWIS 3.3 uses the same registration code as ILWIS 3.1, 3.2 and upgrades.
• When upgrading from ILWIS 3.0 to ILWIS 3.3:
  You are supposed to have received an ILWIS 3.1 registration code in May 2002 at the e-mail address you provided in the registration form.
• If you use this 3.1 registration code, there is no need to register ILWIS 3.3, as ILWIS 3.3 uses the same registration code as ILWIS 3.1.
• However, if you are an ILWIS 3.0 user and have NOT received a 3.1 code, please fill out the registration form again (see link below) and contact us at ilwis@itc.nl.

ILWIS 3.3 can be installed next to ILWIS 3.2.

New users: One month trial period

New users are entitled to try out the ILWIS software for an evaluation period of 1 (one) month free of charge. Subsequently, you can obtain a permanent license after payment of EURO 100 (Euro one hundred excl. VAT).

Download the executable above, and install the software. At first use, simply select "Start Trial" when a registration code is requested. At each startup, you will be reminded how many days are left before the trial period is expired. At the end of the trial period, you are required to register. After the trial period, ILWIS will only start when a valid registration code has been supplied.

• To obtain a registration code, click here; you will pass through the license agreement and the registration form.
• The obtained registration code must be entered in the ILWIS 3.3 software, before the trial period ends, by choosing Help, Register... while running the ILWIS software.

Until July 1st 2007 new users are required to pay license costs in order to use ILWIS after the 1 month free trial period. After July 1st 2007 new users can obtain ILWIS without any license costs.
