Wednesday 4 December 2024
The HyRelief project was featured at a 3-day thermal remote sensing workshop at Space Park Leicester, UK. The workshop was sponsored by CECI and organized in collaboration with the the European Space Agency (ESA) Land Surface Temperature Climate Change Initiative: LST_cci.
The HyRelief team gave a webinar on day three (4 December 2024). The webinar presented thermal-based Earth Observation (EO) drought monitoring, the added benefit of hyerspectral EO in drought monitoring, and the thermal-hyperspectral EO drought monitoring prototype developed under the project.
Activities such as these inform upcoming ESA thermal LSTM and hyperspectral CHIME missions.
A recording of the webinar can be found here.
