A kingfisher skimming over a campus pond. A nesting blackbird in the tree in front of your student room. All sorts of birds can be found on our own campus, from a ‘common’ house sparrow to rare specimens. In this early morning one-and-a-half-hour excursion, Dr Rolf de By (UT, ITC), Wim Bakker MSc. (ITC) en Carl Derks take you to places where you can discover birds. Rolf, Wim and Carl are enthusiastic birders and know the campus like the back of their hands. We will go out in small groups while the birds sing and it gets light. In cooperation with Green Hub.
Register via this link before 17 April. Cost: 5 euros (students), 10 euros (non-students). Proceeds go to Vogelbescherming Nederland (Bird Protection Netherlands).
