The DISC hosts Digital Planning Tools Workshop for Municipality Enschede employees

Technology is changing our work and our world at a rapid pace. For some this offers opportunities and inspiration, while for others it brings questions and uncertainties. One thing is certain: we must shape this digital future together. That is why the municipality of Enschede organized a Week of Connection Implementation & IT for its employees July 2025.

During this Week of Connection, ITC organised a workshop in the DISC (Design and Interactive Space for Co-creating) (add link to DISC). The municipality learned from Karin Pfeffer, Carissa Champlin, Johannes Flacke and Cheryl de Boer about this place where people meet to share their knowledge and perspectives. They discovered how DISC can be a place to co-design a future of Enschede by using digital planning tools. The tools are digital participatory mapping and design tools developed by DISC that the municipality can use to design together with colleagues solutions for Enschede for different topics.
