Serious Game day with Safety regions at Twente Safety Campus

The Twente Safety Campus (Twente Safety Region), in collaboration with the University of Twente and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, would like to invite you to explore how serious games can strengthen the work of the safety regions. The focus will be on exploring existing games, playing them, and seeking shared goals for the safety regions.

The Twente Safety Campus has several serious games that are used for various groups, including schoolchildren, and has a new game focused on resilience. In addition, there are several serious games developed by other safety regions and the University of Twente. During the day, we will discuss potential applications of serious games and shared ambitions for developing new games. We will discuss, among other things, the potential and challenges of serious games in reaching the "whole of society" and in realistically simulating behaviour in crisis situations. The discussion will be held in Dutch, but at least some games will be introduced in English.
