Fellowships
Applications for admission are processed and decided upon irrespective of the financial situation of the applicant. It is assumed that applicants will be capable of meeting their travel expenses and of financing their study, residential and other costs while at the Institute.
After admission a student needs to secure funding. For your convenience we have listed below the most important fellowship programmes for ITC students. The link to the Netherlands Organisation for Cooperation in Higher Education www.nuffic.nl, may provide additional information. Please note that in most cases procedures are long, so make sure to have your application sent in early.
Your admission is valid for two years.
Please indicate your country of birth below, this leads to an overview of fellowships programmes that might be interesting for you.
Notes
- International fellowships are available at more places. You may use the following link for an overview of possiblities: www.nuffic.nl/international-students/scholarships. If you are already familiar with scholarship programmes, you can access the Grantfinder (online search engine) directly at www.grantfinder.nl.
- Fellowships are usually intended as a substantial contribution towards most basic expenses but do not cover all costs in full.
- Although fellowships from the Dutch government, EDF or one of the United Nations agencies do include a fixed allowance for books, lecture notes and personal drawing and calculating equipment, this seldom covers the actual cost of these study materials.
