This workshop track consists of three parts. First, we start with an introduction session (20 minutes) explaining different ways in which the Living Textbook can be used in an educational setting. The second part (20 minutes) of this workshop consists of a “work along” exercise, in which you will get hands-on experience following learning paths and analyzing analytics data via the Learning Analytics Dashboard. We will end the workshop with a discussion (20 minutes) on the possibilities and difficulties of using the Living Textbook in education, and we will explore options to further develop the tool, including e.g. Analytics Dashboard for students and the integration of the LTB with other tools like Jupyter Notebooks.
