ITC Global Impact

Become a high-skilled geospatial professional

The overarching goal of our education is clear: to equip our students with state of the art knowledge, skills and competencies on geo-information science and earth observation. It may be one, 10 or even 60 years since they have left our university, but ITC’s alumni still have a strong bond with our faculty. Graduates tend to remain in close contact with us and we, in turn, actively cultivate our alumni network. We take pride in our close-knit community of people with a passion for identifying and understanding vulnerability and converting it into resilience.

Our alumni belong to a worldwide community of over 25,000 individuals, who together form an extensive network of international contacts. We see our alumni as our hands, feet and feelers in every corner of the world. Many ITC graduates return to their country of birth to make a huge impact in their home countries. Some former students work at United Nations organisations, others join universities and we can even say that our alumni end up as ministers in countries such as Indonesia, Zimbabwe and Antigua and Barbuda.

With this magazine, we hope to inspire you by showcasing the stories of our former students who are now using their skills and competencies to be change leaders in a changing society.
Enjoy reading!
