College of Hydraulic & Environmental Engineering (CHEE-CTGU), signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU)

On 25 March 2014, Prof. Tom Veldkamp, the Dean of Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC) of the University of Twente and Prof. Yihong Zhou, the Dean of College of Hydraulic & Environmental Engineering of China Three Gorges University (CHEE-CTGU), signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at CHEE-CTGU.

The two partners agreed to explore the cooperation opportunities on staff exchange, joint research, joint education and etc.
CTGU is located near the world-famous hydroelectric and tourism proving ground, endowed with the characteristic features of the hydroelectric potential and Three Gorges culture, is questing and endeavoring on the way to becoming a high-level comprehensive provincial university with the hydroelectric feature and implementing the developing strategies of constructing, reforming, and developing. In 2009, CTGU and the Ministry of Water Resources of the People's Republic of China signed an agreement to make joint efforts to build the university. CHEE-CTGU is a legally recognized institution providing for education and research services in the fields of Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering, and Civil Engineering.
