Advisory services
To make good use of the knowledge and skills available within the School, advisory services
are offered in support of land administration organisations throughout the world.
Advisory services in the form of short and tailor-made training courses, capacity building,
and broader institutional strengthening and development can be offered to professional and
academic organisations.
Institutional strengthening project Guatemala
An institutional strengthening project is being carried out at the Faculty of Agronomy of
San Carlos University, with the aim of developing capacity in education and research in
land administration. The activities include curriculum development, staff development,
improvement of facilities, and the design and implementation of a research programme.
Programme content is based on the requirements of local stakeholders, who form the
Land Administration Users Group.
