Background information about the PhD community at ITC
The ITC PhD Committee (IPC) is the official representative body of the PhD community in ITC. All PhD students are automatically ordinary members while AIO’s and former successful PhD candidates are associate members. The IPC executive body is elected yearly and is composed by 7 ordinary members.
IPC interrelates with the ITC administration through monthly meeting with the Head of Research and IIH administration.
The integration and communication between PhD's is promoted by the forum and several yearly social events (PhD week-end, BBQ, Christmas dinner). Additionally, a meeting for all members takes place every last Friday of the month as from 17:00hrs (so-called PhD drinks).
