ENSPADS goal

The overall objective (goal) of the project is to improve the urban and regional planning process by enhancing the role of spatial information technology, decision theory, and multi-criteria decision analysis.

The specific objective (purpose) of the project is to strengthen the universities participating in an Expertise Network for Spatial Planning and Decision Support by improving their curriculum in the field of urban and regional planning and governance through introduction of Spatial Planning and Decision Support Systems (SPDSS) theory and application in their courses, and to that end exchange staff and share information and expertise.

After the approval of the project by the AUNP office, academic partners have received favourable response from public and private sector partners, to participate in the network in an advisory role and at the same time tap from their expertise.
