Manuscript editing
Scientific manuscripts that graduate students prepare for publication in ISI journals, peer-reviewed journals/books that meet ISI standards, and as a PhD thesis are expected to meet the publisher's required standard of English.
Where the supervisor/promotor is satisfied that the scientific content is sound but the English requires improvement, he can approve 'light English editing' by a professional editor, with expenses to be met from the PhD budget of the graduate student.
The choice of editor, etc., has to be in line with ITC's English Editing Purchasing Policy.
