GeoScience Laboratory

Research

The GeoScience Laboratory provides the means to carry out certain measurements on sample material collected by ITC staff, students or by others and of which analytical determinations are required for research. These measurements can vary from IR-spectral measurements on organic or inorganic samples, chemical analysis of cation and anion concentrations in water and solid samples to soil property analysis to physical properties of solid material. Overview of available equipment and instruments.

Spectrometers Sample preparation
The laboratory has a wide range of modern field and laboratory spectrometers for measurements on vegetation, soils and rocks in the visible, near and thermal infrared range of the spectrum. Sample preparation room in full action with NRM and AES course participants
