Programme Board

The WHW (Dutch Law on Higher Education) requires the establishment of a Programme Board for Education for each education programme or groups of programmes. The Faculty ITC decided to establish one Examination Board and a Programme Board for all MSc and Master degree, Diploma and Certificate courses of ITC.

The Dean of the Faculty ITC has installed a Programme Board for Education on 2 February 2011.

The Programme Board for Education

The task of the Programme Board is to give advice to the Portfolioholder Education of the Faculty Management Team and Head Education on any matter pertaining to ITC’s master-level and non-degree courses that are implemented under the responsibility of Head Education.

The Programme Board gives:

  • Advice on the curricula of the degree, diploma and certificate courses, including admission criteria and examination criteria for final assignment and thesis
  • Advice on ITC’s quality assurance system and course-specific elements of this system
  • Advice on ITC’s Education and Assessment Regulations
  • Annual evaluation of the courses and the way in which the above mentioned regulations have been implemented
  • Advice on education policy

The Programme Board consists of 4 staff and 4 student members:

The Programme Board is assisted by a secretary. Marie-José Verkroost, education specialist of EA, will act as executive secretary for advice and documentation.
