Organisation structure
An organisation based on process management
ITC is organised on the basis of process management principles, with a transparent organisational structure.
The three core processes of education, research and project services are managed by:
- Academic Affairs (education and research)
- Business Affairs (project services)
The core activities are executed by staff of the six scientific departments covering ITC’s knowledge field:
- Department of Earth Observation Science (EOS)
- Department of Geo-information Processing (GIP)
- Department of Urban and Regional Planning and Geo-information Management (PGM)
- Department of Natural Resources (NRS)
- Department of Water Resources (WRS)
- Department of Earth Systems Analysis (ESA)
The process management departments and the scientific departments are supported by two support departments:
- Personnel Affairs
- Financial Administration
ITC is managed by a Directorate headed by a rector and a managing director.
The Directorate is supported by the Scientific Council.
In conformity with Dutch Law, the common interests of the employees are looked after by the Faculty Council.
