ITC Alumnus Dr. Rishiraj Dutta who graduated at ITC defending his thesis: A spatio-temporal analysis of tea productivity and quality in North-East India, received a paper award at the World Tea Science Congress, India between 22-24 November 2011. This Congress addressed many of the contemporary research issues and provided a platform for scientists to share their ongoing tea research activities.
The title of his paper was “Modelling and quantifying tea productivity in Northeast India” and he presented this in the technical session: Environment and climate change.
