Short Course: High Resolution Image Analysis for Natural Hazard Assessment
From 2 to 20 January 2012 the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) and ITC organize the 3rd Special Course on High Resolution Image Analysis for Natural Hazard Assessment.
This 3-week course at IIRS in Dehradun, India is targeted at earth scientists, environmentalists, geomorphologists, hydrologists and disaster management specialists working in India and other Asia-Pacific countries.
This course concentrates on the interpretation of aerospace data such as high resolution images (Resourcesat-1, Cartosat 1 and 2, Quickbird, Geoeye, World view), for applications including landform analysis, multi-hazard assessment, elements at risk mapping and post-disaster damage assessment
