Former Rector Prof. Klaas Jan Beek
ITC organized an alumni meeting that was very successful. It was attended by some 45 alumni and took place in a very charming restaurant in Hanoi. Also in attendance were former Rector Prof. Klaas Jan Beek and his son Martien Beek (first secretary Netherlands Embassy Hanoi) and wife Olivie and former staff member Patrick van Laake, now working for the UN in Vietnam. It is great to see that the alumni form a tightly knit group, they know each other well and meet regularly. The dinner reception was also used to say farewell to our residence representative in Vietnam, Mrs. Marjan Kreijns, who will leave the region at the end of 2010.
