International Education Sports Day
Enschede, Saturday 10 April 2010
Students from 10 international institutes showed their sportsmanship and fantastic spirits in the 32nd International Education Sports Day, which took place last Saturday, 10 April 2010 at the campus of the University of Twente in Enschede.
Since 1980 this unique competition for international students in the Netherlands has been conducted annually. This year’s sports day was hosted by the Faculty ITC of the University of Twente.
Over 600 international students from the Institute of Social Studies (ISS), The Hague; Radio Nederland Training Centrum, (RNTC), Hilversum; the Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies (IHE), Rotterdam; Maritime Economics and Logistics (MEL/EUR), Rotterdam; the Institute for Water Education (IHE-UNESCO), Delft; Delft University of Technology (TUD), Delft; SAXION University of Applied Sciences, Enschede; PTC+ from Barneveld (PTC), University of Twente (UT), Enschede and the faculty ITC competed at soccer, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, badminton, chess, darts and in a relay race.
