Introducing the University of Twente Central Library
All ITC staff and students are able to use the UT library for free. You will receive a free library card from the Central Library of the University, but you need to bring your ITC smart card to identify yourself. For staff members the (temporary) ‘UT Medewerkerskaart’ doubles as library card.
When you borrow a book at the central library you are personally responsible, this means that the ITC library is not involved. All Correspondence about these books will be send to you ITC e-mail address.
You can also request books that you want to borrow from the UT Library online via the UT central library catalogue, you’ll have the option to choose the ITC library as pick-up counter for the book(s), see print screen.
We'll inform you when it is available for you, and we also can return the book to the central library for you.
BE AWARE, UT imposes fines for returning books late, so renew your books online in time.
