Master class by Dr. Jennifer Dungan

Staff and students are invited for a Master class by Dr. Jennifer Dungan, Earth Science Division, NASA, on:
Scientific Workflows for Analysis of Earth Observation Data
In this master class, the basic outline of workflows for EO data analysis will be discussed with an emphasis on NASA research satellite data. Good practices for obtaining data, registration, radiometric processing, modelling, validation and map production will be covered. A tool for capturing workflows to promote reproducibility will be demonstrated.
Dr. Jennifer Dungan will also present the Schermerhorn lecture at the opening of the ITC academic programme 2012-13 the following day. She is a research scientist at NASA's Ames Research Center.
