Information systems based on remote sensing data have become an important tool for solving various practical tasks today. The orbital Earth remote sensing satellites group includes many dozens of spacecrafts: optoelectronic and radar sensing of the Earth is carried out uninterruptedly. The Earth remote sensing industry has become one of the major components of the information-oriented society.

The biannual conference AARSE conference is an important event not merely for geoinformation sciences, but also for the whole IT community. It is an excellent opportunity for managers, experts, and scientists working in state organizations, commercial companies, research and educational institutes to gain knowledge and exchange experience.

We hope to bring together over 600 participants from various countries involved in the state, regional, municipal planning and management, remote sensing, GIS and cartography, cadastre, environmental science, urban planning. An opportunity to address the conference with a report, participate in the workshops and exhibition was given to data providers, software and hardware designers, project owners and users representing various sectors of economy, including oil and gas industry, forestry and agriculture, and many others. The local organizing committee will give all their best to organize the event, welcoming all applications for participation and providing the opportunity to present their results and products in the best conditions.We look forward to seeing you in El Jadida in October 2012.
