Latin American Remote Sensing Week (LARS) 2010 - Chile
Exploradores del Sur
The Chilean Air Force’s “Servicio Aerofotogramétrico” is pleased to organize the first version of the Latin American Remote Sensing Week, “South Explorers”, LARS, with the sponsorship of the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) and the “Sociedad de Especialistas Latinoamericanos en Percepción Remota y Sistemas de Información Espacial” (SELPER, for its acronym in Spanish).
Remote sensors and geospatial data have an increasingly important role on decision making, allowing the central government, local administrations, non-governmental organizations, commercial sector, academic community and common people to resolve from a territorial perspective the problems that afflict them.
For this reason, is an opportunity for scientists, academics, organizations and companies to present their research and to exhibit the latest scientific and technological breakthroughs in the field of Remote Sensing.
We invite you to share with all of those who are interested to meet the latest scientific and technological breakthroughs in subjects of Remote Sensing, as well as the wide variety of applications in this field, in what is expected to be a stimulating international meeting, with outstanding lecturers and special guests.
