UT Alumni Meet Monterrey (Mexico)

University of Twente - Global Breakfast Talk

We are glad to invite you to the University of Twente Global Breakfast Talk with Dr. Ir. Jelle G. Ferwerda

Subject:

For at least half a century technology came, saw and conquered society - electronics are now an essential part of our daily lives. These are exciting times for a university focusing on cutting edge technology as well as the social factors surrounding engineering solutions. The process of miniaturization has made it possible for consumers today to carry powerful computers in their pockets but the scale is now tipping from home computing towards cloud computing with the focus shifting from general to specific information. Thanks to smart wireless networking location is no longer important so people can work when and where they choose.  Dr. JG Ferwerda will touch on the subject of the real-estate paradigm of 'Location, Location, Location' in his presentation which will explore if our understanding of space and location is indeed the "next frontier".
Moreover, you will be updated about the latest education and research developments and the beautiful real estate at the University of Twente.
