Faculty Council Elections
Dear Students,
The Faculty Council (FC) is the highest policy-making body for every faculty under the University of Twente (UT) system. Since the merger with UT last year, ITC needs to choose who will fill the 10 FC positions by elections. The positions are equally divided among staff and students (PhD and MSc) with separate elections for both. Staff serve for 2 years while students have a term of one year. This year, we shall be electing 5 student representatives.
The Faculty Council Electoral Committee, the body tasked to oversee the conduct of the elections, has decided to hold it on December 1, 2010. Henceforth, we call upon interested MSc or PhD students to fill in the attached nomination form and have it signed by at least 10 student supporters. Basically, the criterion for candidacy is at least one year of study at ITC until December 2011.
The deadline for the submission of nominations is on 22 November at 1700 hrs. Accomplished nomination forms must be personally submitted by the nominee to any of the three Committee members whose names are inscribed below this message. You may also contact them for additional queries or visit the intranet pages of the FC for further reference.
Sincerely yours,
Faculty Council Electoral Committee
