ASPRS Annual Conference 2010 - USA

Opportunities for Emerging Geospatial Technologies

The ASPRS 2010 Annual Conference Opportunities for Emerging Geospatial Technologies will be held April 26–30, 2010 at the Town and Country Hotel in San Diego, California.

We encourage submissions on research and applications of innovative technologies in the remote sensing, photogrammetric, and GIS fields, as well as technologies that will provide information or assistance to the surveying and mapping community. We also welcome submissions for updates on the more traditional technologies.

This conference will have an outstanding set of technical presentations on all aspects of imaging and geospatial information. Following the theme of the conference, Opportunities for Emerging Geospatial Technologies, we will feature sessions on the evolution and future of geospatial data collection, processing and analysis, and information derivation in ways that are useful in making local, national and global decisions, whether it is for homeland security, resource management, business, or other purposes.

If you have not presented a technical paper in the past, you will find this a very beneficial experience. For those returning presenters, we welcome you back. By sharing your new or improved process, technique or capability application or product with your fellow conference attendees, you are advancing the geospatial industry and you and your organization will benefit from this professional exposure.

Oral presentation, as well as poster presentation, abstracts are highly encouraged and will be featured throughout the conference.
