Capacity development
Capacity building is done mainly by means of knowledge transfer, i.e. participation in regular MSc and Professional Master education, decentralised courses, distance education and, whenever necessary and relevant, consultancy in the spatio-temporal statistics and topographic mapping knowledge nodes of the department.
This all contributes to knowledge transfer, with an aim to assist partner institutes to become more independent and complementary in a network of geo-information education. Developing and maintaining joint educational programmes is a prime orientation to promote building on capacity.
