What's ITC all about?
The Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC) of the University of Twente provides international postgraduate education, research and project services in the field of geo-information science and earth observation using remote sensing and GIS. The aim of ITC's activities is the international exchange of knowledge, focusing on capacity building and institutional development in developing countries and emerging economies.

Organisation
ITC is managed by a Directorate headed by a rector and a director of external affairs, supported by a Scientific Council and supervised by a Supervisory Board.
Scientific departments
ITC's core activities are executed by staff from six scientific departments covering ITC's knowledge field.
United Nations University
As an associated institution of the United Nations University (UNU), ITC contributes to the UNU mission. The activities are accommodated in two schools: - School for Land Administration Studies - School for Disaster Geo-information Management
